"Unruly parent" cited following car chase

LONDONDERRY - State Police were summoned to Flood Brook Union School Monday morning following a report of an unruly parent.

The parent involved, identified as Angelique Jarvis, 42, of Londonderry, had left the school premises by the time the state troopers arrived on the scene, according to a report released later that morning. The troopers had been summoned from the Rockingham Barracks.

However, Jarvis's vehicle was spotted traveling east on Route 11 in Londonderry by a detective in the area. According to the state police press release, Jarvis began passing other cars at a high rate of speed. Jarvis was eventually clocked at doing 83 miles per hour in a 50 mph zone by another state trooper. Eventually, the trooper and the detective were able to bring Jarvis into custody without further incident.

She was cited to appear in Windham County Superior Court, Criminal Division at a later date, according to the police.
