Unplugged in the Northshire

MANCHESTER - On Sunday, May 19 at 3 p.m., join Dr. Lynn Mann of SVMC Pediatrics, Maryann Morris, executive director of the Collaborative, and Lisa Kelly, found er of Unplugged, for an informative free discussion about ways to connect with your children and reduce your family's screen time.

Computers, televisions, smartphones, and video games have greatly increased the amount of time that children spend before a technology screen. This increased screen time can result in increased risks obesity, behavioral challenges, decreased academic performance, and a lower level of social interaction. The three presenters will share information on the impacts of screen time on children and ways you as parents can get unplugged and change the tide for your family.

The class is free, but registration is required at svhealthcare.org/events.
