Thanks, Thrifty

To the Editor:

Flood Brook School sends a big thank you to the Volunteers of the Thrifty Attic what goes around, comes around. It is a small, old saying, yet, it holds true in Londonderry. Thrifty Attic volunteers spend countless hours sorting and selling treasures that are passed from one family to another.

We pay a very affordable price for our needed and desired finds. We are utterly delighted when it comes back to us in forms of grants so we can continue our mission of life long health for the students of Flood Brook School. Thank you for your generosity and support for the school's new playground and XC JISP program. Hundreds of students will benefit from your valuable time! In addition, we would like to thank Thrifty Attic for their generous donation to support the "Backpack Program." This program enables our students most in need to take a bag of food home every week for the entire school year. Vermont households will now see a decrease in their 3 square benefits making it increasingly difficult for families to support the nutritional needs of children here at Flood Brook. Many thanks to Thrifty Attic for their benevolent support with helping those families in need.
