MANCHESTER >> Green Mountain Academy welcomes Christopher Walcek, a research associate at the University of Albany's Atmospheric Sciences Research Center, to talk about climate change and its skeptics. Many scientific aspects and details of recent climate change are open to uncertainty and debate, yet the issue is heavily influenced by politics and economic factors which can bias public perceptions. In this presentation, some of the more controversial and uncertain aspects of recent climate change will be presented, along with the explanations offered by scientists with a range of opinions about climate change.

The talk will be held on Tuesday, March 22 at the Manchester Community Library from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Registration is $15 in advance or $20 at the door. For more information or to register, call 802-867-0111 or visit
