Tai chi classes for seniors

MANCHESTER - Green Mountain Tai chi announces that the Simplified Tai chi for Seniors class held each week at Equinox Village in Manchester will now meet on Wednesdays from 10 -10:45 a.m.

These classes, which are facilitated by certified instructor Rich Marantz, are open to the public and are appropriate for all ages and fitness levels.

Tai chi is a slow gentle form of exercise that has been shown to improve balance, lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels as well as improve sleep and reduce anxiety.

Rich also teaches a seniors class in Arlington on Friday mornings and is available for private instruction. For more information call 802-645-1960 or e-mail rich@greenmountaintaichi.com
