I would like to encourage your readers to the re-elect Carol Lattuga to her two-year Manchester Selectboard seat.
I have known Carol for close to 40 years. I've watched her raise a family, operate her sewing business here and be a constant volunteer (and Unsung Hero) in our community.
I think this kind of history, knowledge and involvement is important to a Board who we ask to make important decisions on our behalf.
I have been proud to have her as my selectperson for the past 12 years. She is always available to listen and talk about any concerns I have about Town issues and believe me, I take advantage of that. I also appreciate the fact that she carries my concerns to the Board for discussion. This is very important to me as I am able to watch on television but am unable to come to the meetings.
As a lifelong resident of Manchester I also appreciate the work that this Board has been able to complete, especially the new round-about. It looks great and works well.
I was amazed that this was able to be built with so little interruption of daily traffic. I also love the look of the new streetlights in the downtown.
Carol and her Board have done a very responsible job managing our town and its challenges. Thank you all and please vote for Carol Lattuga for the Manchester two-year Selectboard seat once again.
