Stram Center to host open house

BENNINGTON - In an effort to effectively help people reach their 2013 goals with acupuncture, the Stram Center for Integrative Medicine in Bennington will be hosting a Community Acupuncture Open House with Ana del Rosal, L.Ac. on Tuesday, Jan. 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Community acupuncture provides a unique, serene and supportive group atmosphere, offering effective acupuncture techniques for a broad range of health concerns at an affordable rate. This event is for people who are curious about acupuncture or for those who have tried acupuncture but want to address different issues. The Community Acupuncture Open House is free and open to the public, however it is requested that those interested call the office ahead of time at 802-445-3152 to schedule a time with del Rosal as space is limited.

Acupuncture can play an important role in helping to achieve some of the traditional resolutions by eliminating cravings, managing anxiety, aiding with sleep and providing the additional motivation and support needed. With smoking and alcohol reduction for example, acupuncture treatments focus on jitters, cravings, irritability and restlessness; all symptoms that people commonly complain about when they quit. It also aids in relaxation and detoxification.

The Stram Center for Integrative Medicine; providing primary care, naturopathic medicine, nutritional supplements, acupuncture, and medical massage; is located at 530 Main Street (rear entrance) in Bennington. For more information on community acupuncture and del Rosal's services, visit their website at or call 802-445-3152.
