Stram Center announces new doctor

BENNINGTON - The Stram Center for Integrative Medicine in Bennington has announced the addition of a primary care/general practitioner to their staff, Dr. Kirsten Carle, ND.

Carle will be offering naturopathic primary care, women's health, cleanse/detox programs, nutrition, and homeopathic and herbal botanical medicine. She began taking patients April 1 and accepts Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Vermont, MVP, Cigna, and Vermont Medicaid insurances.

Carle studied biology at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. and holds a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Ore. As a primary care naturopathic physician, Carle believes that health is an active process maintained through daily lifestyle choices and therapies that support the body's innate ability to heal itself.

The whole person must be considered, including physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects, in order to facilitate true healing.

Ultimately, she hopes to provide her patients with the understanding and tools necessary to prevent disease and support lifelong health.

The Stram Center for Integrative Medicine is located at 530 Main Street in downtown Bennington. For more information on services, practitioners, or accepted insurance, visit their website at or call 802-445-3152.
