MANCHESTER - On Tuesday, May 21, at 7p.m., Burr and Burton Academy will be screening the original documentary "Sea Bright Rising" at the Riley Center for Performing Arts. All are invited to this private screening.

The film is BBA teacher Bill Muench's first feature documentary and focuses on the small town of Sea Bright New Jersey and their recovery from Hurricane Sandy. The Town of Manchester connected with Sea Bright through the work of Orvis and BBA students and teachers. The 50-minute film chronicles the efforts of the Sea Brighters to rebuild.

Muench, along with Jim Raposa, Taylor Fuller, Weston Muench and David Rose filmed and interviewed locals on eight different trips over the past six months. Using this original footage, Muench has been editing the film for three months. The film runs 50 minutes and there will be a brief question and answer panel after the film.
