Sherrie's demolished

MANCHESTER - The building that used to be Sherrie's Cafe is no more. It was torn down late last week following a fire on May 6.

Charlie Cave, one of the owners, said they are in the process of looking for another space in Manchester. He did say the team may look into doing some catering while trying to find a new location.

Overall though, Cave said the community has been very helpful.

"We're really happy with the community support. It's been really great," he said.

The building is owned by FHS Holdings, a property holding company for rk Miles. Joe Miles, CEO of rk Miles, said they are still unsure what will happen in the future with the space.

After an investigation by the state police, the fire was deemed an accident.
