Shabat 'Fat Friday' set

Posted

MANCHESTER >> Friday, April 8 at 6:30 p.m. will be the last Havurah Keruv Shabbat before Passover. Fat Friday is a very special (and made up) day on the Keruv calendar. It's when lots of hametz — leavened foods — are eaten.

Join the group for a spiritual, musical, mind-expanding, and sumptuous Shabbat. Here's what's on the menu:

- Services led by our talented lay-leadership

- Music courtesy of the Shalom Rav Singers

- D'var Torah: "Understanding the Exodus"

- Bagels & Lox, Potato Latkes, Kugel, Decadent Desserts and more

Consider adding to the meal by bringing a favorite Kugel, egg salad, tuna salad, herring, green salad, sliced fruit or extremely leavened dessert. (Last Name's S-Z are in charge of dessert).

Services anda community potluck dinner are at the First Congregational Church of Manchester. All people of all ages are welcome.
