Second Annual basketball challenge set for Arlington

ARLINGTON - The Arlington Memorial varsity girls and boys basketball teams will take on the Arlington Alumni for the 2nd Annual Basketball Challenge on Friday, March 21, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Arlington Memorial High School gymnasium.

Hosted by the Fisher Parent Teacher Group, the night will also include a basketball game featuring Arlington faculty/staff vs. Arlington parents.

At the door, tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students 12-years-old and under and $20 for a family. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time at the Fisher Main Office: $4 for adults and $2 for students under 12. All proceeds will benefit the Fisher Playground Fund.

Fisher Elementary Principal Deanne Lacoste encourages everyone to attend.

"This is such a fun night for our families. The students love to cheer on their teachers, and the alumni are happy to be back on the court. We have the Arlington Pep Band playing, there's a 50/50 Raffle, and we will be playing rounds of Knock-Out basketball during half-times," said Lacoste.
