To the Editor:
Tails were wagging and smiles were plentiful for all those who participated in the dog show fundraiser at the Manchester Dog Park on Saturday June 18. We would like to commend Jonathan Saunders for his hard work in making the event a success.
Jonathan came up with the idea to build a shelter to protect dogs and owners from rain and heat as well as the addition of an agility course. If sufficient funds are raised, both would be welcome additions to the dog park. Jonathan did an outstanding job organizing the entire event which raised $487 toward the goal of $1000. Jonathan embarked on this community service project in hope of earning his Eagle Scout designation and he is well on his way.
