School to hold auction

MANCHESTER - On May 31, Maple Street School will host its Biennial Spring Auction to raise funds for scholarship. Auction co-chairs, Sarah Weber and Katie Cyr, have announced that many local businesses have donated products and services.

"The overwhelming support of our entire community continues to amaze me," Weber said. "Local stores, restaurants, and community members continue to give in so many meaningful ways and for that we are extremely grateful."

The evening will begin at 6 p.m. at Maple Street School. With over 100 silent auction items, guests will be able to browse at their leisure during cocktail hour, enjoying elegant food provided by Hub's Catering Company.

Jewelry, restaurant gift certificates, summer fun items, and much more will be among the items to bid on. Live auction offerings include trips to Montana, Montreal, Nantucket and New York City, local experiences, and artwork. Expert auctioneer, Eric Nathan, will be the host for the live auction and dinner portion of the evening. Over 40 percent of the Maple Street School student population receives financial aid. All proceeds from this event go directly to the Maple Street School Scholarship Fund, which enables the school to remain vibrant and affordable for any student who can benefit from and contribute to a Maple Street education regardless of financial ability.
