Roundup: Locals compete at Vermont City Marathon

BURLINGTON -- About a dozen runners from the local area competed on Sunday at the Vermont City Marathon.

Manchester's Nick Gault was the next fastest local, completing 26.2 miles in 3:13:36, good for 130th in the men's race.

Other competitors included Bennington residents Jessica Chapman (3:38:30), William Colvin (4:05:31) and Andrea Malinowski (5:52:03).

Manchester teens Liam Kelleher and Thomas Kittross each finished in under four hours, Kelleher in 3:30:43 and Kittross in 3:44:54. Kenneth Kunisch also beat the four-hour mark, doing it in 3:59:34. Gail Schnaars finished as well in 4:35:46.

Also from Manchester, Eric Rose was 12th in the men's handcycle race, finishing in 2:15:50.
