Roundup: BBA squeaks past Vermont Academy

MANCHESTER - Austin Kemper's goal 23 seconds into overtime propelled the Burr and Burton Academy boys lacrosse team to a 12-11 win over Vermont Academy on Saturday.

The Bulldogs led 7-3 at the half, but Vermont Academy scored four goals in each of the final two periods, including a goal with one second remaining, to force overtime.

Sean Paradis led the way for BBA (2-4), scoring five goals and adding an assist. Bennett Timmerman and Kemper each had two goals, and Ben Alexopoulos, Andrew Sherras and Sam Anglum all tallied. Alexopoulos also had three assists.

BBA faces Brattleboro on Tuesday.
