Rotary presents dictionaries

MANCHESTER - The third graders of Maple Street School received personal copies of a Webster Dictionary from the Manchester Rotary. Members of the Rotary, Norm Champine and Ron Wilcox, made their annual visit to Ms. Chaffee's classroom to distribute the dictionaries as part of "The Dictionary Project."

This year, the Manchester Rotary will distribute over 100 dictionaries locally.

Mr. Champine and Mr. Wilcox led the class in looking up words from the class' Fairy Tales Vocabulary list.

The students were honored to receive their dictionaries and have been using them each day to look up the interesting words that they encounter in their independent reading books.
