Rosenfeld to discuss autobiography

MANCHESTER - Former Washington Post Editor Harry Rosenfeld will discuss his autobiography "From Kristallnacht to Watergate: Memoirs of a Newspaperman" at Israel Congregation of Manchester on Wednesday, June 11, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Born in Berlin, Rosenfeld was raised in the Bronx. He was the associate managing editor/metropolitan at the Washington Post during the Watergate scandal; he oversaw coverage of Watergate, including the groundbreaking reporting of Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein.

In his book Rosenfeld tells an insider story of Watergate describing how his Jewish childhood in 1930s Nazi Germany influenced his desire to become a journalist.

His book will be available for purchase from the Northshire Bookstore at the synagogue. The evening is free and open to the public.
