Romp to Stomp coming Jan. 25

STRATTON - Aiming to top last year's fundraising and participation numbers ($120,700 plus and 700 Rompers, respectively) the Tubbs Romp to Stomp Out Breast Cancer Snowshoe Series, to benefit Susan G. Komen Vermont-New Hampshire, is returning to Stratton Mountain Resort for its 12th running on Saturday, Jan. 25.

The Tubbs Romp to Stomp Out Breast Cancer Snowshoe Series, presented by Tubbs Snowshoes, invites snowshoers of all abilities and ages to come and be a part of the largest fundraising snowshoe series in North America. The Romp to Stomp series has raised $2.57 million dollars for Susan G. Komen and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation since its inception in 2003.

Each Romp event offers participants a morning full of activities including the opportunity to try out free Tubbs demo snowshoes on groomed 3k or 5k snowshoe courses, join in the Lil Romper Dash (for kids 12 and under), pick up goody bags, and win great prizes from event sponsors at the awards ceremony.

The Romp to Stomp encourages each participant to raise at least $100 to help provide breast health screenings, treatment and services to underserved women in their communities as well as fund global breast cancer research.

To help participants reach their fundraising goals, the Romp provides fundraising tips, tools, prizes and incentives on their website.
