MANCHESTER - Rop Roper, President of the Ethan Allen Institute - Vermont's free market think tank - will lead a discussion on education and politics, on Friday, May 23, beginning at 4 p.m. at Equinox Village.

The discussion will be framed as the contrast between people and groups solving their own problems versus the government collecting taxes and trying to solve the problem.

Since coming to Vermont in 1998 Roper has been actively involved in Vermont politics and policy with focus on educational issues and school choice. Roper also co-hosts the program "Common Sense" on Vermont Radio WDEV.

Those interested in attending are asked to R.S.V.P. by calling (802) 362-4061.
