The series premiered on Oct. 16 with the first episode, "Curiousity." The second episode, "A Little Imagination," will be released this Wednesday, Oct. 30. The music video was filmed at the Southern Vermont Arts Center's Wilson Museum.
"A Little Imagination" stars Ryan VanDenBoom (currently performing in "Annie" on Broadway). the performance is directed by Joshua Sherman and Ryan VanDenBoom; the choreography is by VanDenBoom. The music is by Gail C. Bluestone, with lyrics by Emmy Award Winner, Eileen Bluestone Sherman.
Producer Joshua Sherman is actually a full-time physician at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington. Prior to his career in medicine, Dr. Sherman worked on Broadway as a set and costume designer. He transitioned to producing theater and music professionally in 2001. When asked about this unique combination, Dr. Sherman replied, "Theater and medicine both require creativity, collaboration, organization, and problem solving skills."
"It is very meaningful to me that I can use these skills to improve patients' lives," he said. "I also love working with talented artists to create something beautiful."
