Registration open for Maple Leaf Half Marathon, walk

MANCHESTER >> The Make-A-Wish Vermont Maple Leaf Half Marathon and Kotler 5K will be celebrating its 38th anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 8 a.m. Runners from all over will be converging on Manchester for a re-energized, action-packed event.

This year, new partnerships are in place with Make-A-Wish Vermont and the Manchester Lions Club. An additional event, Walk For Wishes, will take place alongside the Half Marathon and the Kotler 5K. Participants in the Maple Leaf Half Marathon, the Kotler 5K, and the Make-A-Wish Walk For Wishes are encouraged to solicit sponsorships for their individual efforts. These sponsorships will help support the mission of Make-A-Wish in granting the wishes of children in the state of Vermont with life-threatening medical conditions, and to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

The Make-A-Wish Maple Leaf Start will be at the Dana Thompson Recreation Center in Manchester.

Registration is $60 for the half marathon, $25 for the 5K.

As of June 1, the fee for the half marathon will be $65, so register today.

Registration is being capped at 1,000 runners and day-of registration will not be available.
