Readsboro Glassworks to host open house

READSBORO - Vermont glass artists Mary Angus and K. William LeQuier will open their Readsboro glass studio to the public for their annual Holiday Open Studio and Sale on two weekends, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 8-9 and Dec. 15-16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Stop in to see their handblown glass and enjoy some hot mulled cider while visiting with the artists.

On display and for sale will be a unique collection of handblown glass perfume bottles, bud vases in translucent jewel tones, and colorful handmade glass candy cane and icicle ornaments. And new this year, Angus and LeQuier have created sparkling glass snowflakes, individually sandblast-carved in clear glass.

Readsboro Glassworks is located at 6954 Main Street (lower level). Call (802) 423-7706 or for information and directions. The studio is open other hours between now and Christmas by appointment.
