Police conduct aggressive driving sweep

MANCHESTER -- On Monday, Jan. 21, between 8 a.m. and noon, the Vermont State Police, with the combined effort of the Manchester Police Department, conducted a directed patrol for aggressive driving in the area between exit 3 and 4 on US Route 7A, between the towns of Manchester and Sunderland.

Nineteen vehicles were stopped, with approximately $3,640 issued in tickets. Sixteen tickets were issued for speed and two tickets issued for failure to move over for an emergency vehicle and one written warning for a moving violation. No arrests were made.
