PBS film and discussion considers transgender issue
MANCHESTER CENTER >> On Thursday, Feb. 18 at 6:30 p.m., the PBS Film & Discussion Series presents "A Self-Made Man" at Manchester Community Library. The film takes a candid look at what it means to be transgender, and focuses on children coming to grips with their own sexual nonconformity.
The 60 minute film examines the complicated dynamics of transition from multiple perspectives. A panel discussion will follow the film screening. Hosted by Manchester Community Library and Vermont PBS, the program is free and open to the public. Manchester Community Library is located at the corner of Route 7A and Cemetery Ave. in Manchester.
