No injuries reported in two rollovers

SUNDERLAND -- No one was injured Tuesday on Dunham Road in a crash where the driver of a Chevrolet S-10 told police he lost controll of his vehicle after swerving to avoid hitting an oncomming car. Vermont State Trooper Wayne Godfrey said Aaron M. Burke, 31, was the driver of the S-10 which rolled down a small embankment and came to a stop right-side-up. The vehicle received moderate damage to the fenders and roof

Burke told police he had just come around a corner and found the other vehicle in his lane. He was not able to give police enough information to identify it.

Police: Trailer wobbles, causes crash

DORSET -- State Police said no one was injured Wednesday when a trailer hitched to a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado began to wobble, causing the vehicle to go off the road and roll over.

Police said the Chevrolet was being driven by William F. Morrissey, 63, of East Dorset at 8:36 a.m. on Route 7 north of the East Dorset General Store when the crash occurred. The Chevrolet was totalled.
