LONDONDERRY - Rockin' Ron, The Friendly Pirate, will be at the Londonderry Town Office Assembly Room on Wednesday, July 24 at 10:30 a.m. This performance is sponsored by the South Londonderry Free Library and the Vermont Department of Libraries Summer Reading Program.

Rockin' Ron Carter, a graduate from the Berklee college of Music, is a singer/songwriter/guitarist who has been performing for kids and kids at heart since 2002. Come one, come all to what promises to be a fun event.

Currently showing in the Janeway Wing of the library are stunning impressionistic paintings of Andover resident, Mary Giammarino. There will be an artist's reception with her on Wednesday, July 31 at 7:30 p.m.

Board of Trustee meetings are generally held on the third Wednesday of each month and the public is cordially invited to attend.

Library hours are: Mondays from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Fridays from 10 to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays we are open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. We are located at 15 Old School Street in S.
