Newfane boy found


NEWFANE >> The missing juvenile, Donavin Hamilton,14 of Newfane has been safely located.

In an e-mail, Lieutenant Paul Favreau from the Brattleboro Barracks said, "State Police would like to thank the general public for all the tips that were called in to us. They proved instrumental in safely locating Donavin Hamilton."

According to Favreau, Hamilton was located in good health on Route 30 in Townshend at 8:30 a.m. today after the Brattleboro Barrakcs received a phone call from someone who spotted him in the area.

"We have no comments at this time" said the parents of Donavin.

Hamilton was declared a missing person Monday morning after he ran away from his home in Newfane. At the time he had been last seen wearing a green sweatshirt that read "Salisbury," along with blue jeans and black sneakers. Hamilton has blonde hair and blue/green eyes, stands 5 feet 01 inches tall and weighs 116 pounds.
