Music discovery week planned


MANCHESTER >> During the week of July 11-15 area children, ages 6-14 have the opportunity to try out violin, viola, cello or piano (or continue study on their current instrument) for just $25. This unique program has been part of the Manchester Music Festival (MMF) since 1985. Lessons are taught by the talented festival's Young Artists who will be in residence for six weeks. Parents can choose between two 45-minute sessions every day at 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. with lessons taking place at the First Congregational Church and Festival House in Manchester Village.

The week concludes with a recital on Friday, July 15, 11 a.m. at the FCC. For more information or to download an application form visit or call (802) 362-1956.
