MSW adds two

BONDVILLE -The Mountain School at Winhall has announced that two new staffing positions have been filled in order to help MSW better achieve its goals and to serve all students at a higher level of excellence. This month, Mrs. Marybeth Bailey will rejoin the school as MSW's new Academic Dean, and Mr. Tony Kasulinous will become the school's new Athletic Director.

"These two positions are additional proof that we continue to successfully meet our long-range planning goals and are providing the best academic and athletic experiences for our students. We are thrilled to have both Marybeth and Tony as part of the MSW community," said Head of School, Daren Houck.

Mrs. Bailey, who also served as MSW's Science Specialist this past fall, will be the new Academic Dean.

She will be responsible for leading the mission-driven curriculum, professional development, and student assessment initiatives. In addition to being MSW's Science Specialist, Mrs. Bailey has also been a science teacher at the middle and high school levels for nearly a decade at both the Stratton and Killington Mountain Schools, as well as Director of Residential Life at SMS and Academic Coordinator at KMS.

Mr. Kasulinous, who is MSW's current middle school Language Arts teacher, will be the school's new Athletic Director.

He brings nearly 20 years of educational experience as a special educator, English teacher, physical education teacher, Athletic Director, coach and school and district administrator in K-12, college, and adult education. Mr. Kasulinous has also coached soccer at the NCAA Division III level and played two years of professional soccer.

In addition to his athletic director duties, he will also serve as MSW's new head middle school golf coach this spring and soccer coach next fall. The Mountain School at Winhall is an accredited Pre-K-8 independent community school in Bondville.
