MSL seeks book donations
MANCHESTER - The Mark Skinner Library has opened its doors for book donations. The annual book sale will be held from August 9 to 11, Sidewalk Sale Weekend, at a site to be announced. We will accept fiction books in very good condition, either hard cover or paperback. Non-fiction books on cooking, gardening, art, travel and nature are especially popular. Audiobooks and children's books sell well, too. We will not accept damaged books, encyclopedias, Readers' Digest condensed books, VHS tapes, yearbooks, textbooks or out-dated non-fiction books on politics, opinion, health, etc. Mark Skinner Library is located at 48 West Rd. in Manchester and is open Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Wednesday, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Donors can call the library (802-362-2607) to make arrangements for pick up of large donations.
