MSL celebrates Black History Month
On May 2, 1963, the children of Birmingham, Ala. took to the streets to challenge segregation. This testament to the fact that young people can make a difference is a production of "Teaching Tolerance," a project of the Southern Poverty Law Center. The film runs 40 minutes and will be followed by discussion. It is appropriate for Grades 6 through adult. The program is free and open to the public.
