MMF to present school's concert

Posted
MANCHESTER - The Manchester Music Festival is offering free school-time concerts on Thursday, September 27 at the First Congregational Church in Manchester.

There will be two 45-minute sessions: 9:30 and 11 a.m.

Our string orchestra is on a break this year, but you will get the chance to hear the MMF piano quintet: Adam Neiman, piano; Joana Genova and David Lisker, violins, Ariel Rudiakov, viola and Benjamin Capps, cello. We will perform beautiful and exciting works by Arensky and Giannini and talk about the instruments and the composers.

So far about 500 students from the following schools have signed up: Maple Street, Longtrail, Dorset Elementary, Bennington Elementary, Hiland Hall, Sunderland, Arlington and Floodbrook.
