MCS to host spaghetti dinner for bus driver

Posted
WEST PAWLET - On Friday, Sept. 20, the staff of the Mettawee Community School, as well as friends and community members, will put on a spaghetti dinner for the benefit of MCS bus driver and community member Cyndi Legg, who recently lost her West Pawlet home to fire on Labor Day.

The spaghetti dinner will be at the Mettawee Community School on VT-153 in West Pawlet beginning at 5 p.m. and going until all are served.

The fundraising dinner menu includes spaghetti, with or without meatballs, tossed salad, bread, beverage and brownie sundae for dessert. The cost of the dinner is $8 per person and takeout will be available.

Legg has been a school bus driver for the Mettawee Community School for many years. The school community is trying to give back to her for all the times she has given to the school and its students.
