March Madness celebration at Mountain School
The night kicked off with a pizza dinner for students, staff and families, followed by "game time." With daylight on their side, students were able to play games both inside and out, from tag to mat ball, to a mega game of sardines.
At 8 p.m. the the Parents vs. Students game tipped off. The Parents held onto their title as champs. The late night activities included a sundae bar, while the group enjoyed watching the NCAA games on the big screen. The whole evening wrapped with a late, late night movie for the students.
After some much needed sleep, all met back in the morning for a farewell breakfast. The event was attended by over 40 students and additional parent volunteers. All proceeds from the night will be donated to the local area Special Olympics.
The Mountain School at Winhall is an accredited Pre-K-8 independent community school in Bondville.
