Maple Street appoints new communication director


MANCHESTER >> Maple Street School Maple Street School has announced Meredith Morin as the Director of Advancement and Communication. Ms. Morin holds two bachelor degrees from Syracuse University in magazine journalism (Newhouse School) and anthropology (Maxwell School). She has a master's of business administration from the University of Utah.

For the past 19 years, Ms. Morin has worked in non-profit communications, marketing and development. She has managed strategy and led tactical improvement at the secondary school and university levels. Ms. Morin worked at Stratton Mountain School for seven years as the communications director, NEASC self-study coordinator, and the school's interim giving director for one year. As the NEASC coordinator, she led the school's 10-year reaccreditation process including the self-study, visiting committee and two-year interim reporting. She has served on three NEASC committees, including one as the assistant chair.

Most recently she worked as the communications director of The Hermitage Club, a private, four-season club and the fastest growing company in Vermont, according to Inc. Magazine. Prior to her experience at SMS, Ms. Morin worked as the communications director at Tilton School and as the marketing and communications director for the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. She enjoys running, skiing, boating and wake surfing, and most importantly, is the proud mother of two Maple Street students in sixth and third grade.
