Making right choice for legislature
As a young adult living in Vermont, I feel so privileged to live in a state filled with natural beauty, rich history, and kind-hearted people. However, like many young Vermonters, I'm at a crossroads over where I plan to live as I approach the next stage in my life. The direction of our state government is an important factor in my decision, as it is for many other young Vermont residents. I want to live in a state with economic security, employment opportunities, and a quality education system.
Representative Patti Komline has been fighting in the legislature for these goals over the past decade. She has sought to repeal and replace the failed Act 60/68 in order to better finance our school system, promoted school choice proposals, led efforts to foster small business growth, and worked to protect the average Vermonter from burdensome property tax increases. Patti has been a leader in Montpelier for fiscal responsibility and government reform, and she has gained respect on both sides of the aisle for her commitment and willingness to listen.
We need to keep Patti fighting for our interests in Montpelier. I ask my friends and fellow Vermonters from Danby, Dorset, Landgrove, Mt. Tabor, and Peru to re-elect Patti Komline for State Representative. You can vote for Patti in the primary election on Aug. 26 and the general election on Nov. 4.
