The talk will be held at Burr and Burton Academy in the Hunter Seminar Room. Professor Benor will talk about whether distinctions can be drawn between religious and magical ritual. This talk will help make clear the relations between magic, science, and religion when we recognize that calculus was invented in order to establish their unity.
