LTS hosts Skate and Bowl

Posted
DORSET - On Sunday, Jan. 6, from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m., Long Trail School invites the general public to a (cheap) skate at Riley Rink at Hunter Park in Manchester.

In addition to the ice skating, there will be an opportunity to make bowls for Long Trail School's Empty Bowls 2013 in the conference space adjacent to the warm-up room. Skating is $1 for students and $3 for adults. Skate rentals are not included in this pricing.

The Empty Bowls Project invites the public to make bowls, free of charge, which will then be fired and sold with donated soup, bread and dessert at the Empty Bowl Dinner on Saturday, April 6. All proceeds go to local food charities.

Families are welcome to skate, make bowls, or participate in both.

Please direct questions about this event to Courtney Callo at ccallo@longtrail school.org or 802-867-5717 x 141.
