LTS hosts Science Day

Posted
DORSET - On Monday, March 17, Long Trail School chemistry students hosted a Science Day for 5th and 6th grade students of Dorset School and Long Trail School 6th graders.

The younger students participated in a variety of hands-on chemistry activities including Alka Seltzer rockets, slime, stained glass glue and much more. Prior to this event, these 10th grade LTS students and visiting German exchange students offered a sampling of the Science Day experiments during "A Taste of Long Trail" night.

LTS students and the visiting German exchange students worked hard to prepare and were excited to share their knowledge of chemistry with others, making this an international collaborative event, an active component of learning at LTS.

For information about Science Day and how students from other schools could be invited to the next event, contact Jennifer Rosenthal at Long Trail School at jrosenthal@longtrailschool.org or call 802-867-5717, x166.
