Londonderry to celebrate Independence Day

LONDONDERRY - Londonderry will be holding a Fourth of July celebration beginning a fireworks display at the base of Magic Mountain ski resort on Friday, July 5, at 9:30 p.m. Food and drinks will be available and spectators can watch the fireworks from Magic Mountain's base lodge and deck.

The annual parade will be held on Saturday, July 6, starting from the state garage at 11 a.m. and ending at the Mountain Marketplace near Clarks IGA.

There will be plenty of food and drinks, chalk sidewalk drawings for kids and adults, and a bouncy house for kids.

The special guest in the parade will be Sam Lloyd who, along with his Beatles tribute band the Butties, will be playing songs during and after the parade. All are welcome to attend or participate in the parade.
