Local students on Andover honor roll

ANDOVER, Mass. - Two local students have been named to the honor roll for the spring term at Phillips Academy.

Melanie H. Oliva, Class of 2014, of Manchester Center and Frances H. Yackel, Class of 2015, of Pawlet recently received the honor.

To be named to the honor roll, students must maintain at least a 5-point grade average on a 6-point scale.

Phillips Academy, also known as Andover, is a coeducational, non-profit, independent high school of 1,100 students, known for its extensive and rigorous academic program.
