Local students earn Castleton degrees

CASTLETON - The following local students graduated from Castleton State College during the commencement ceremony held on Saturday, May 19.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree: Stephanie Hazlett of Arlington, Chelsea Mattison of Arlington, Laura Fisher of East Arlington, Keighan Chapman of Jamaica, Adrienne Bushey of Manchester, Elaine Harper of Manchester and Hannah Towsley of Manchester.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree: Michelle Murphy of Arlington, Daniel Pickering of Arlington, Derek Secoy of Arlington, Angela Ameden of Bondville, Meghan Hart of Bondville, Ashlee Lovell of Bondville and J. Alexander Esser of Weston.

Graduating with a Master of Arts degree: Sarah Reed of Londonderry, Cheri Schroeder of Manchester Center, and Walter Ripley of West Pawlet.

Castleton is small enough to be a community where every student matters, yet offers more than 30 academic programs, 20 intercollegiate sports, and over 40 clubs and organizations. The college stresses community service and provides exceptional programs to first-year students.
