Living with Alzheimer's workshops offered

BENNINGTON - The Bennington Free Library and the Bennington County Caregivers Coalition will be holding a new three-part program in the Home Caregivers' series, "Living with Alzheimer's: For People with Alzheimer's" three Wednesdays in March. The programs will be March 13, 20, and 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Bennington Free Library, which is located at 101 Silver Street.

The program "Living with Alzheimer's" is an interactive three-part program addressing early stage issues and planning for future needs for those people with Alzheimer's. The featured speaker will be Maggie Lewis, Director of Programs and Services, Vermont Alzheimer's Association.

The workshop is free and open to the public and is funded through a grant from the Southwestern Vermont Council on Aging. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required by March 9 by calling 1-800-272-3900. A light supper will be served. The Library is wheelchair accessible.
