'Little Picture Show' extended

MANCHESTER - The Southern Vermont Arts Center's annual Little Picture Show will be available this year through the entire winter season.

Traditionally offered during the December holidays, the show has gained increasing popularity, and its run has been extended. The Little Picture Show offers affordable, small paintings and drawings (no larger than 9 x 12 inches) created by the Arts Center's Artist members.

The works reflect a wide diversity in theme, style, and color and present "a perfect opportunity for the first-time art buyer to begin collecting art a small step at a time," said Gallery Director Chester Kasnowski.

"The show is a celebration of artistic expression on a small scale and fulfills the Arts Center's mission to bring the finest in visual art to the region's art fans and collectors," he added.

The Little Picture Show can be found in the upper hall gallery of Yester House.

Admission is free. For additional information, call 802-367-1306.
