Library to offer summer reading program
The program is open to toddlers through teenagers. The first 25 to sign up will receive a free raffle ticket for use with the great baskets on display in the library. Throughout the summer, participants will receive one raffle ticket for every two hours of reading or being read to. Baskets will be raffled off in August.
The programs feature science in many different forms:
July 17 at 10:30 a.m. - Drumming with Saragail Benjamin. pre-registration required. Attendance is limited.
July 23 at 6:30 p.m. - Fun Science Fair with Nano Sand, Lava Lamps and much more. Pre-registration required.
July 24 at 10:30 a.m. - African Photo Safari with Ted Schiffman
July 31 at 10:30 a.m. - Rainbow Loom Maker Day. Pre-registration required. Attendance is limited.
Aug. 7 at 10:30 a.m. - Meet live owls and raptors with Mike from the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum.
