Letter to the editor: Vote for Zuckerman
Vote for Zuckerman
State Senator David Zuckerman is running for Lieutenant Governor. Last fall I met him at a spaghetti dinner, at a local church, and again when he introduced Karenna Gore, who was the Earth Day speaker, at Southern Vermont College. An Environmental Studies graduate of UVM, he is an organic farmer in Hinesburg. He has served fourteen years in the Vermont House and four years in the Vermont Senate. As a farmer, he believes in employing sustainable practices which will benefit the present rural economy and future generations. He would like to bring together a diverse set of voices to address the impact of climate change and to find ways to speed up the transition to renewable energy. His work on introducing and framing GMO Legislation goes back to 1999.
Please consider voting for David Zuckerman in the Aug. 9 primary. I am.
