Laberge joins Solar Pro

ARLINGTON - Solar Pro announced today that Bill Laberge has joined their team to further develop solar solutions for homes and businesses in southern Vermont.

Laberge will represent Solar Pro's innovative photovoltaic products including the Vermont-made AllSun Tracker to his neighbors in Dorset and Rutland county.

As the lead organizer of Transition Town Manchester for the past several years, Laberge comes to Solar Pro with extensive knowledge about sustainable living practices and renewable energy.

Laberge and his wife, Lisa Laberge, decided to continue to "walk the talk" personally last year by investing in their own Solar Pro photovoltaic system for their home. Since then, they leased an all-electric vehicle and are now driving a solar-powered car.

"I am excited to start a new challenge with Solar Pro. I look forward to working with the team to help promote their affordable and smart solar solutions for our community. As a customer, I am already familiar with their top quality products and service," Laberge said.

For the past twenty years, Laberge has owned a successful custom cabinet and furniture making business in Dorset. He is a highly skilled craftsman and will continue his craft by teaching woodworking classes in his Dorset studio.

"Bill's passion and knowledge about sustainability and solar energy makes him a key addition to the Solar Pro team," said owner of Solar Pro Karen Lee. "We view our new affiliation as a sign of Solar Pro's commitment to being a leader in the development of solar energy in southern Vermont.

"Increasing demand from the community for cost-effective solar solutions led us to expand our team. We are convinced that Bill will fit in with our philosophy of innovation and exceptional service. We consider ourselves very fortunate that we were able to find someone of Bill's caliber to fulfill this role."

Solar Pro is a Vermont solar energy company serving Bennington, Rutland, and Windham counties as a designated photovoltaic full state partner.

Solar Pro has installed more than 75 solar systems for happy customers in southern Vermont who are now using the power of the sun.
