Kittay Library to hold plant sale

RUPERT - The Rupert Kittay Library's Plant Sale will be taking place on Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

There will be well labeled annuals, perennials, herbs and vegetables available for gardening needs. The plants will be in both pots and 6 packs, as well as hanging baskets. The plants have been grown locally at Laura's Garden.

If anyone's garden has produced more perennials than they need, the Library will be happy to add them to the sale. Please label the plant(s) and bring them to the Kittay Library in pots from May 14 to May16. Those who need pots should call Ellie Wetterauw at 394-2404.

This is one of the library's fund raising events that contri butes to the running of the Kittay Library's many programs.

The Kittay Library is located at 2827 Route 153 in the center of Rupert.

Visit the library website at or call the library at 394-2444.
