JISP instructors sought


PERU >>The Bromley Outing Club is seeking Volunteer JISP instructors for the 2015/2016 season. If you are a skier or snowboarder who is looking to get involved in the community while enjoying your time on the slopes, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

For 65 years the JISP program has brought kids to the Mountains and helped instill a lifelong passion for skiing and snowboarding. The JISP program is driven by the efforts of our volunteers.

Help continue the success of this great program and sign up as a volunteer JISP instructor today.

Volunteer Benefits

Instructors: Earn one credit for each day of teaching. One credit equals one ticket mid-week and non-holiday Sundays. Two credits in exchange for Saturdays and all holiday periods designated by Bromley Mountain. Two free Stratton exchange days. Free skiing from 11 a.m. until 1pm and after your class on the day you teach. You need to use a credit to ski on Bromley JISP Sundays. You must commit to nine weeks of instruction; join the BOC ($45); attend preseason clinic; sign in and pick up your attendance card. Instructors are responsible for finding their own substitutes.

Instruction begins on Tuesday, January 5 and ends on Friday, March 18.

Instruction skips TWO weeks - February 9 through 12 AND February 16 through 19.

JISP Sunday Schedule

At Bromley on January 3, 24; Feb. 7, 21, 28; March 13, 20

At Stratton on January 10 and March 6. You have the option of going to Stratton or coming to Bromley on these 2 days.

Bromley Sundays start at 11 a.m.

JISP Clinic Dates

Friday, December 11 & Saturday, December 12 from 9 -12:30 at Bromley Mountain
